English breakfast = contains 2 kinds of sausages; link and Lorne sausage, black pudding, bacon, fried or scrambled egg, beans, fried bread, fried tomato and mushrooms, fruit slice, fishcake or potato cake (occasionally, although mainly found in Scotland), hash browns, toast with butter/jam, tea/coffee or fruit juice.

Continental breakfast: croissant, roll and butter, toast with butter/jam/marmalade, cereal with milk, juice/tea/coffee, etc.

Full English consists of a variety of the following: egg, bacon, sausage, beans, tomatoes, fried bread, black/white pudding, toast, mushrooms and tea or coffee, whereas a continental is rolls and butter with possibly jam or marmalade.

There is a huge difference.
Continental breakfast is light, Tea or Coffee with croissant, danish pasty or muffin.
English full breakfast is quite heavy and will last 'till suppertime. Bacon, Eggs, sausages, fried tomatoes, black or white pudding, hot buttered toast (or English muffins, crumpets or pancakes). Served with honey and/or jam and a Pot of Tea/coffee.

Full English is the fry-up - bacon, sausage, egg, beans tomatoes, etc. Continental is breads, toast, pastries and preserves.
