Illegal immigrants do harder work for lower pay, unfair to them and unfair to everybody else, but that's how it is and that's, imho, why the government isn't cracking down on it as much as we'd like. Because without them, some employers will have to start actually paying their workers what they're worth! Can't have that happen, can we? :P

There are many issues in the immigration area. First off, the government makes more money from illegal aliens. If you think about it, many immigrants will try to get jobs that actually take income tax from their pay checks. In order to get these jobs, the individual needs a social security number. Once they get a stolen number, they get a job and the government ends up taxing that SSN twice or more.
The biggest issue here is welfare. Immigration is only a symtom. There are many people that come hee because of free money. They are not taking from us, the beloved government is taking from us and making it available to anyone. Welfare needs to be taken out of government control and put back into the hands of private charities.
As a side note, citizenship was only created for the purpose of taxes. If you think about it, citizenship came about in the early 1900's when the illegal income tax was forced on the people. Try to think of any benefits of citizenship. There aren't any.

We could stop illegals fron entering our country anytime we wanted to but our government along with big buisines don't want to because they are both making money from it. Our elected officials are so wound up in graf and corruption anymore it's pathetic. They all have interests in the biggir buisiness that support hiring illegals as well as having their hands in their pockets as well it's all a money thing. The FTA was the biggest mistake our government made when they all passed that law. Oue auto industry is nill anymore, all the parts are being made in mexico and overseas then shipped back to texas and a few other states where the vehicles are assembled. These parts use to be made by the auto industry, then they started outsourceing to other local company's but as soo as the FTA was put into effect they all took off to mexico and other third and fourth world country's. As long as corruption continues to run our governments both local and federal they won't care about illegals entering this country and will continue to ruin our people, we have already lost our middle class.

BECAUSE THESE ILLEGAL ALIENS ARE ...working for Giant International farming, food and raw materials companies. But, nothing happens to the CEO's. They know their mid-managers and operations managers hire these people. But, the CEOS still get to drive their 100,000 luxury cars out of the driveway of their 1,000,000 luxury homes, to their luxury office at their 1,000,000,000 companies.
These million-aires and billion dollar companies run your government. As long as business can make money off of Paco and Pablo who come here to pick fruit, dig trenches, remove trash and paint houses for five dollars an hour, while Paul and Peter make hundreds of millions of dollars over their life time hiring them -- NOTHING WILL CHANGE.
The solution? Start confiscating the homes and assets of people who hire illegal immigrants. Its the only viable solution. When illegals can't get jobs. They will leave.

If the illegal aliens weren't putting money in the governments, and big business's pockets, they would find a way to get rid of them and keep them out.

The government is to concerned with getting votes from certian groups and therefore wont do anything to enforce the laws.
it is time that we, as AMERICAN CITIZENS tell our government that we will not stand for this any longer.
Write your congressmen, senators, govenor and other elected officials and let them know that you will be voting for another person if they do not start enforcing the laws!

Because this is not only a political matter, and human morals come into play it's hard for the goverment to try and please everyone, like anything else someone will be opposed no matter what decision is made on imigration. I am three generations Mexican American and have been schooled here and fought for our country. I love my "homeland".

You are absolutely correct. It is impossible for 13,000,000 Illegals to get into this country, receive food stamps, medical care, housing, and all the rest without the concerted support of our (illegal) Government.
