Could be a nervous condition also,I used to have the same when I had certain problems....have you been stressed ? maybe about not getting enough wine??

No its more likely to be alcohol related if you have a big, red, bulbous nose!! On the other hand if you hold your wine glass between your fingers, and you were doing it often enough...then certainly this could result in chaffing...yep, i take it back...your an alcoholic! cheers!

I took my son to the docs for this last week and he was given a fungal infection cream and it seems to have done the trick. Maybe something to look at before worrying about anything more serious.

I don't know do you drink that much? I just Googled the symptoms and it sounds like side effects from some diseases. Diabetes is one.
