a cup and a half is 12 ounces so yes the person would get drunk and possibly seriously hurt from drinking that much depending on how long it takes to drink it.

That depends on the time it took to drink the cup and a half of alcohol. You didn't say if it was over days, hours or minutes. Assuming it is within a close period of time, not only will the UNDERAGE drinker get drunk...but more importantly sick, possibly alcohol poisoning.. and eventually suffer from a hangover headache. However that is not limited to just underage drinkers...anyone who consumes that much alcohol in a short period of time can have the same consequences. And finally...be responsible and if the person in question is not responsive or showing signs of intoxication call for help immediately....parents prefer their children alive...no matter how poor a decision they may have made. There are some things that can't be undone...so do the right thing.

12 oz. is actually 8 shots. A 15yr. old will get excessively drunk. This is definitely a dangerous amount of alcohol.
2 shots/3oz would get a 121 lb. woman legally drunk.
I am a 200 lb. male with a very high tolerance. 8 shots in an hour would get me legally drunk, and I would have to slur to myself, wow I am really flipping drunk.

Yep it will get you drunk..... If you had a choice i would drink some sort of Smirnoff or wine cooler. That way you can kinda control your buzz.. If you drink that much whiskey you will probably pass out and not have much fun the next day. Always be safe and drink in moderation.

Let's see- a cup is eight ounces, so a cup and a half is twelve ounces, or the equivalent of twelve shots. That should do it, if it doesn't kill you. Don't be an idiot.
