Well if you are sure there isnt anymore glass in your foot then the pain should go away in a day or two, but only if you stay off your foot until then. I reccomend keeping the spot clean and putting a fresh bandaid and anitbiotic ointment on it twice a day. By the time you head off to Florida your foot should have healed up enough that the pain will go away.

Your foot is going to be sore for a few more days, as you have punctured the skin and as you have said it is bruised. Bruises don't go away over night, they sometimes take days or even longer depending on how badly your foot is injured. Take it easy on your foot, icing the bruised area as needed, 15 minutes off/on. Take some tylenol for the pain and try to enjoy your trip.

Assuming its a minor cut, in two days it'll have healed enough that you can walk on it without re-injuring it as long as you're feet are sufficiently cushioned. If it's a few steps above minor, you could superglue it shut. That's not a joke. Doctors sometimes use superglue in lieu of stitches(their's is a medical grade glue, but I've never had problems with regular super glue.)
It may or may not still hurt, but if you must walk, then you'll just have to deal with the discomfort.

You may only think you got all the glass out. I had a piece of glass in my foot a couple years ago. I felt like an idiot because it was so small. I ended up going to the dr and they pulled out a piece that was nearly a half inch long, but really thin, up in my foot. Make sure you got it all!

It can take several days depending on the amount of bruising. Just take it easy and try not to do too mush between now and then. If it isn't healed up make sure you have good shoes to wear that are comfortable and won't make it worse. If you have to wrap your foot lightly for more padding. Best of luck and enjoy your trip.

The pain must be unusually strong . The glass maybe stuck in the soft part of a bone socket. It can break off and then the pain will disappear later. Smaller pieces will hurt but a whole lot less.

It will probably heal in a few days, if it is already bruised. Just make sure you take care of it or then it can get infected and then you won't be walking around in Florida for sure.

Hi,
Please seek medical assistance to ensure that all the glass is removed. I would also suggest arnica pills from a pharmacy to help heal the bruising and inflammation.
Have a nice time on your hols.

You need to go to a Doctor. They will check out your foot. It is possible that there are some very small shards of glass in your foot. You are running the risk of infection or worse if you don't.
Have fun in Florida (Disney?).

This is just my opinion, I'm not a nurse or anything. I think in 2 days it will feel a lot better, enough to walk on (carefully). After a week it will be almost back to the way it was, at least for walking on, if the cut wasn't too deep.
