Well, my initial response was going to be use a better sunblock, and lay off the tanning bed! To me, skin peeling off is symbolic of growth, reaching a new level of maturity,or re-inventing yourself, for example, a snake sheds it's skin because it has outgrown the old one.... white is a color of purity, starting with a clean slate, making a fresh start, the underlying skin is white, so I think the growth aspect of this symbol is relevant...

I have a friend whos really good with this kind of stuff and she says that it means that you have some unfinished buisness. Something you have to finish or get off you chest.
