If you vote for Romney, there is a good chance you will never die.
Follow my logic. You need a rudimentary knowledge of eschatology to understand me though.
(1) If Romney becomes president, then the entire world won't take us seriously because of the absurdity of the Mormon religion.
(2) As a result, our nation will no longer become a supernation, and Europe will unite as a single united entity and become the most powerful nations. This is a precursor to the rise of the AntiChrist.
(4) Knowing how pluralistic Romney will be, he will be all for the building of the Third temple for Jerusalem, and fund for its rapid construction. This is also a precursor to the rise of the AntiChrist. His identity will be known right after the rapture.
(5) Once the Third temple is built, the rapture will occur, and all the believers of Jesus will be taken up into heaven. Dead or alive.
(6) Therefore, if you vote for Romney, there is a good chance you will never die.

(7) Hopefully Jesus comes back 5 years after the birth of my child (before they get all bratty) and right before my wife starts getting fat.

Your logic falls apart right in the middle of the first point. The rest of the world won't care what religion our president is. They already laugh at us for taking religion so seriously. To the rest of the industrialized world, there is no difference in how ridiculous Mormonism is to how ridiculous Evangelical Christianity is to how ridiculous Fundamentalist Islam is. So, without Point One, the rest of your scenario doesn't happen, even if it wasn't silly fantasy.

A persons religious beliefs say a lot about the person. If I feel the LDS religion is false and one of their members wants to lead my country I would naturally hold that against them. I am not taking orders from anyone who I feel cant even investigate their own church and know it isnt true. If he cant even take care of himself , I wont trust him to take care of me. There is overwhelming evidence out there that the church is a colossal fraud. They have committed so many crimes such as the Mountain Meadows Massacre and so forth that I am appalled that they are even still around. In the early Temple ceremonies, oaths were taken by the Priesthood to avenge the blood of Joseph Smith on this nation. Now one of them wants to be President? I think not !

It's a great plan up until step 1. The world already doesn't take us seriously anymore. So how will Romney (or anyone else, for that matter) be able to do anything at all? For that matter, even if you manage to pull "armageddon" off, has anyone actually notified Jesus of the plan? It'll be awfully embarrassing if he doesn't show up.
Oh well.

I tried to follow your logic, but I lost you at (1). The LDS church is one of the fastest growing churches in the world. If it's so "absurd", how come so many people are joining it?
The rest of your "logic" is baloney. After the fiasco of the last 8 years, Romney (or whomever wins) can go nowhere but up.

Hey, I think you're talking about Huckabee, 'cause religion-wise ( or DUMB) its the same deal with that old boy. But anyhow, I'm voting for Romney only because he's white! If Oprah is for Obama "because he's black" as has been alleged, then I can vote for Romney, same reason.

That's a pretty stupid thing to base your vote on, no offense intended. Unfortunately, not only will our nation not be taken seriously, we will probably make some serious mistakes that will result in everyone hating us more than they already do.

Having Harry Reed lead the senate has had none of those effects. Not all Mormons are Republicans.

LOL.
Yeah, but won't Romney want to build that temple in Missouri or something?
I want to die someday. I have no need for eternal life, so I won't vote for Mitt.
