Your question isn't very clear; the best maps to use for walking/hiking in Britain are Ordnance Survey Landranger
or Explorer maps which show all public footpaths and cover the whole country; you can buy them from all branches of Waterstones, larger branches of W.H. Smith and many independent bookshops. The Ordnance Survey have their own shop in Kingsway in London near Holborn Underground Station and a website: www.ordnancesurvey.co.uk

Wherever you want to go, it will be covered by the extremely detailed Ordnance Survey "Explorer" Maps (Orange Cover). If you need inspiration, you can get books or view websites to see where you could go, or if like me, you travel by bus, find a bus to somewhere scenic, and do a linear walk to another bus stop (Such as my weekly summer walks in the North York Moors by Moorsbus - 2.5 Months, and i cant wait for it to start up again =D)
