My guy friend is threatening to put charges on me for this so I'm worried, because I've never been arrested before. I need some advice.
Okay I was tired of people praising others for having kids and then telling me that they could just never see me as being able to financially provide. I felt hurt and insulted. I was also hurt that guys were dissing me. My ultra cute guy friend doesn't want anything to do with me as more than a friend, but I wish he gave me a chance. I don't want to be alone this lifetime, I want to pass my genes on and prove to everyone how good of a parent I can actually be.
I did something very naughty. One weekend a bunch of us slept over and watched movies. The next morning, my best guy friend was in one of the bedrooms, getting it on with a girl he's been meeting up with for sex lately. When he was done, I saw him very quickly leave the room for an instant, wearing a towel, to quick throw out the used condom in the wastebasket right outside the room. I was

...I was on my way to the bathroom and saw him do this(I don't think he saw me). I...carried the wastebasket into the bathroom with me and used a Q-tip to make use of what my guy friend had left behind. I really really wanted to show everyone that I *could* be a good parent. By the end of the month, I realized that my slick move hadn't worked and I was not pregnant. I'd like to say it was the last time I ever did that, but it wasn't. I did this a few more times to a few more of my guy friends, mostly the guy I just told you about.
Almost 2 months ago, I actually got pregnant from it(I was not sexually active at this time). When I told friends, they looked confused and said that they didn't think it was a good idea to hav a kid from a one night stand. I swore that it was not a one night stand, but they kept pushing to know who the father was, since they hadn't seen me date anyone and since I'd been whining a lot about never finding any dates. I finally confided in my female friend,

I told her because I thought she'd think it's cute or funny, and keep it secret, but she went and TOLD my friend!! Now he is very angry and said that he doesn't know if he can be friends with me ever again. He is demanding a paternity test. He threatened to press criminal charges against me...is he able to do that? Is there a law against it?
He told me that he's not ready to have a kid at this point in his life, esp with someone he's not even dating, when he's just started to like this one girl he'd been seeing for the past few months. He said that he doesn't want to be strapped down with child support for something that he didn't even do. I assured him that I'd be fine without child support, but he either doesn't believe me and/or still feels uncomfortable about the whole thing. He claims that if he wanted to be a sperm donor, he would have gone to a professional clinic or lab on his own initiative.
I'm starting to wonder if he'll ever talk to me again. Did I break the law?

Why do so many guys claim that it's so easy for a girl to get laid??? It's been almost a year for me! Yes I have guy friends and yes I've been to the bar, but some people just don't have much success with dating, okay? By you guys saying that I could easily "pick up a guy at a bar" like it's so easy, that insults and degrades me and makes me feel like I'm sub-female. I didn't think I was that ugly, but now I'm starting to wonder.
I was at the bar just about a month ago(before I knew for sure I was pregnant), and guys gave me weird looks when I tried to make convo and for the most part ignored me. They seemed a little more receptive to the busty blonde and her friend that were there thoguh. :(

Paternity laws are so screwed up in this country that you could probably get a court to force him to pay child support for this bastard kid you're bringing into the world even though he in no way played a willing part in the child's conception. There have been cases like it.
By the way, you're 100% batsh!t crazy.

As Freethinker mentioned, the Supreme Court has ruled that if you take something from the trash, you are not stealing. Because the other person put it in the trash they have no more right to it or an expectation of privacy regarding it. I don't really know what other charges you might be brought up on. What you have done is clearly wrong... but wrong is not necessarily the same thing as illegal. I don't think it would be fraud as you have not lied about anything or attempted to obtain financial benefit. Maybe racketeering if you try to get support from the "father". On a side note, it sounds like you are wanting a baby for all the wrong reasons. To prove you can be a good parent? Come on. Your selfishness and total lack of responsibility so far has shown you are a moron and will probably screw up your kid (PLEASE PROVE ME WRONG). For your sake and the child's, PLEASE seek professional counseling. I can see where the "father" would be uncomfortable with the situation. I would be too. The fact that he seems to be thinking about supporting the child even though he really had nothing to do with the conception is a positive reflection on his character.

1. Why would you be upset at others being praised for having a baby? it's not like getting sprogged up is something that requires any skill, talent, or special ability.
2. I am going to call Bull **** on this. Impregnating yourself with a qtip and a discarded condom? No.
3. You'd be an unfit parent, I suspect.
4. If all else fails, buy a sperm donor, don't get yourself thrown in jail, which you would if it ever came out who the father was - child support, parental rights, etc., huge mess.

OMG hun, what have you done? It is so morally wrong ! You have forced this guy into a very bad situation ! What he has said to you is very true, he doesn't want to be a father, but as he now knows about your pregnancy, he won't be able to ignore it, will he ?
You should have waited until you were in a steady relationship, I wanted kids for a long time, but something like that would NEVER even have crossed my mind, I'm sorry but I find it disturbing !
As to whether it's illegal or not, I'm not sure but it is possible ! You have used his sperm without his permission, so I'm sure he could make a case against you should he want to .
It's a bit of a mess, I really hope that you find a way to get through it , wish you well .

Don't do it! That's nasty, stupid and selfish. You don't have to prove anything to anyone. Wait until you get a man that will love and care for you and your child. That would just be plain stupid. STOP AND THINK ABOUT IT!
YOU ARE WORTH SO MUCH MORE........... SERIOUSLY

Aside from being completely nasty, that's totally unethical. I have no idea whether it's illegal or not, but it certainly ought to be. Your desire to pass on your genes is an understandable thing, but how can you (in good conscience) involve someone else who is not a willing participant? For that matter, is it even possible to successfully inseminate yourself in that manner? There are so many legal ramifications here I scarcely know where to begin. He would be legally liable for your child's care (via child support) until that child became an adult...perfectly fine arrangement if he was actively involved with you; totally insidious under these circumstances. I'm hoping this is a bad joke.
Maybe you should rethink this approach. Happy New Year.

I'm pretty sure thats not legal at all. And why would you want to get pregnant just to prove to everyone you can support a child. Why not wait till you are in love and marryed to have a child. Your one of those people who should be fixed.
