I am using this caliber on elk next fall and have two loads in mind so far. A 130 Barnes TSX at about 3000fps and a 140 nosler partition at about 2800fps. Does anyone have any other ideas? What do you think of these loads?

Those are pretty hot loads, even for a modern action.
This isn't an old mil. Mauser is it?
Is your data for the Barnes bullet specific?
That hard copper body does raise pressures a bit y'know.

I think you may be pushing a little hard, but those sound great. The only other load I'd think about would be the 160 grain Hornady, but I think I'd give a slight edge to your Partition load.
