1) When should I start applying for colages?

2) how do you know if your GPA is good enough for a certain collage.

I want to go to an out of state collage. and i hear that you have to pay becouse you havent lived in that state.

3) is this true, if so, how much.

I also heard that in some collages, you have to live in the dorm room for 1-2 years.

Answers to your questions:

1) Look at the college websites that you're interested. They have application deadline. Turn them in before those dates! If you are applying to more than one, I suggest being organized and use a calendar to mark the down the deadlines.

2) Most college may have different GPA requirement. You will want to go their website and look at their admission criteria or requirements. They usually have information posted on their website.

3) Yes, it's true. You have to pay more if you attend out of state college because you are not a resident of that state. The cost may vary depending on the college. Again, you can find the cost for out of state tuition on their website.

4) It may be true. My experience, it was optional for me. But it can be true for some college. You can find that out on their website. Maybe under Housing. But if you read the basic admissions criteria, it should mention something about housing.

You can also request the college to send you information about the campus through mail. I would highly suggest you learning more that the colleges that interest you on their website.

ok, I hope that helps.

yeah, first you should spell college right before even thinking about going. You should apply the summer before your senior year. You can check your GPA of the college you want on their site, they generally have college stats. Price really depends and so does the dorm room thing. You shouldnt really have to worry about college until you get to be a sophmore or a junior

first of all, it is college.

You will need to research colleges you want to go to to see their requirements. many colleges have different gpa, class and entrance exam requirements.

Out of state is always higher for tuition. Most are nearly double what an instate school costs.

do your research and learn how to spell!
