yes and not because it is a commandment of God, but because it takes a lot for a person to be gentle and mild, when sometimes peaple and situation are just to stupid. don't get meekness mixed up with being passive.

Most folks will view it as a weakness. But Jesus said that the meek will inheit the earth. We were made to be like God who is all powerful and we admire powerful men. But Jesus told us that real love and power can only be achieved by obeying the commandments and loving Him and our neighbor. So most of us probably going about trying to be like God the wrong way.

Yeah, I do. A person that is meek is not easily angered. They're patient and mild. Those are all qualities that I, as a Christian woman, strive for.

YES. It is not like most people think though. It has nothing to do with submissiveness to ay and every person with shyness and reluctance to speak aloud. A doormat persuasion.
It is the total absence of guile, self-pride and a completely surrendered life and heart to Jesus Christ and understanding 'who they are in Him'. They are confident without boasting, willing to please without compromise and a peace of mind that transends any external circumstances.
