True of some, not all.
As with any group of people, the personalities of atheists run the full gamut.
A lot of atheists like to pounce on slip-ups from religious types because the atehists get that sort of treatment all the time. Its a chance at a little payback for all the endless nit-picking about the details of evolution theory and what-not.

Depends on the mistake and the Christian.
I have to admit, when I read about Ted Haggard, Swaggert, Hinn, and the rest, I was a little pleased that their hypocrisy was exposed.
But when everyday Christians make mistakes, I kinda expect it, because they are no different than the rest of us. As long as they aren't using their belief as a battering ram of pride, I could care less if they slip up.

Maybe for some of those that are new to atheism. Someone who just left the flock and feel cheated, lied to, and used for something that is garbage. Maybe those are the ones that get a little angry. But, that passes in time and they just feel sympathy for all of those that are left holding onto to arcane ideas of magic and lore.

Not this atheist. I like to see people succeed. It gives me that warm squishy feeling inside to see others happy.
I know hard to believe coming from a Godless heathen but it is true and always has been.

People are people, and if they see that some one else doesn't agree with them its quite uplifting to see their face when they find out they are wrong. I'm not saying atheism is right, it isn't, but i'm just saying this is a general human thing...

The vast majority of what is said about atheists is false, because it is said by ignorant bigots who know nothing at all about atheism.

hmm.
depends on the individual and the sutuation.
i like it and dislike it. obviously i dont like seeing people perpetuate incorrect information and teaching their children that its fact.
but at the same time a lesson is learned by making mistakes.
as for wether i get entertainment from it? sometimes...this also depends on the situation and subject.
obviously someone insisting that the earth is flat can get pretty amusing. especially when theyre loud and insistent.

No, they like to point out the "hypocrisy" of all religions, while of course, they have none of that amongst themselves.
