Dreams are your brain filing away all the things that are going on in your head. Maybe you have been wondering about him seeing others as you are far away from each other. This is probably a issue with yourself and your own doubts.
My mum always told me that if you tell a dream it will never come true, so now you have told us then don't worry.

Oh my... Well, I don't think it has anything to do with your dad telling you anything, I think you are telling yourself something. It's possible that you may have unconsciously picked up on clues that it's not going to work out as a relationship. Another possibility is that since you are living so far apart at the moment, you may be spending alot of time worrying if he is being faithful to you. You don't say how long you were going with this guy before you went away to the UK, and 2009 is an awful long time to wait on the fulfillment of this relationship. You will both go through an awful lot of changes in this time, and the possibility is strong that your feelings, as well as his, are likely to change.........

I Can relate to you on this, but also it doesnt apply really also, since dreams can fill into several catagories, from prophetic to just a dream.
It is common for people to dream about issues they wont confront while they are awake, because it is to disturbing/uncomfortable, stupid or just to many other things to think about.
So when you go to bed, your mind opens up and often what was last imprinted in your mind like a movie or a daily activity may effect your dreams, but also anything which has been troubling u in the back of your mind you have not openly thought about, or perhaps you doubts are playing on.
Either way Sounds like your dream is acting off your natural doubts and insecurity of the unknown future and possible fears. Even if while your awake you feel 100% trust in your partner, its natural for your mind to wonder and ? the possibilities.
My parents gave me their house, because it was to big for them and they moved into a small house since there getting fairly old, so ever since they gave me the house i wanted to do some changes to the rooms, one being the room my bro died in, which has remained almost identical since the day he died in it.
When i finally got to his old room and sceduled and planed 1 week in advance, i started having dreams, were my bro would appear with me in his old room as a ghost, he would just look at me and wouldnt say a word.
I didnt think much of it, but i had the dream every single nite over and over for 6 days, i got the feeling he didnt want me to touch the room or something, so i decided to leave it as it was and on the 7th day the nite the room was meant to have changed, i had the dream again, but my bro this time looked at me with a different expression and left the room...i can only assume he was happy i decided to leave it be, im still uncertain in regards to it.
Either way it is possible your dad was warning u, only u can answer that yourself or it could just be your insecurities, u will have to decide, nobody can tell u for fact if its true or false...or to my knowledge anyways :).

One of two things;
1) You`re just feeling a little insecure about being so far away from someone you love.
2) You had cheese before bedtime.
