I do a small detailing patch on my hair, and I've tried several kinds of bleaches. The best results I've gotten have been from L'Oreal, as seen here:

I'm not looking for STARKWHITE bleached, but my hair isn't terribly blackdark and that's ninetyfive minutes of bleach. I can deal with frizz and damage, don't tell me not to because I'm going to anyway.
Good bleach.
that's all I want to know.
:]
Grazi.

The Best Bleach Is Powder (For Lightness/Resistant Hair)
The Best For Gentleness Is Oil (liquid)
The Best Of BOTH WORLDS Is Paste Or Creme It Gives The Lightning Power Of The Powders WITH The Conditioning Of Oil (Liquid)

Try These: L'Oreal® PLATINUM™ Paste
RedKen® BLONDE ICING™ Paste Lightner
CLAIROL® BW™ Creme

Some Of These Are 'Professionals Only' Products And You May Need A Good Beauty Supply Or Web Order.

P.S. To Get The Best Lightning, Use The Recommended Developer With The Bleach They May Say USE Or NOT TO USE 40 Vol. And Some Have An 'Interlocking' Conditioning System That Works Best When Used Together.

Good-Luck!

Good bleach is at the salon. But if you've got dark hair, I can almost promise you your hair will not be a pretty blonde. It is very very difficult to lift dark hair that many shades lighter. You may be able to deal with frizz but are you prepared for your hair to fall out? Because that's what will happen if you try this yourself. You're probably going to end up with an orange, yellow color. Just giving you my opinion! Good luck!

Go to a salon, I know that may not be what your wanting to hear, but trust me, it's worth it. I bleached my brown hair and it turned an orange/red/ icky shade that I had to re-do in brown just so I could go to work! It may look ok on a small patch, but I don't think doing it your self is going to be a good idea. Good luck!

Trust me I have dark brown hair and I've tried everything go to a salon doing it at home will only damage it with no results.

I hate when people say go to a salon but bleaching is something you should do in a salon.
