NP- nighttime paralysis
Once he gets home from work he sits on the couch and ask me to get him some tea, get this, do that, hand him this, hand him that, let the dogs out/in, watch the baby. I told him last night I wanted him to see a doctor as soon as possible or his condition. He laughed and got the hint .

That's a good one!! My cousin has one like that for some kids who are diagnosed with ADD I truly believe more than half of them are not ADD, she says it is NBD never been disciplined.

Now to answer your question, no my husband is not like that, he does most of the cooking. I do all the cleaning and taking care of kids, he does spend a lot of time with them (playing) but not the feeding, school work etc of them, but I am a stay at home mom and this situation is what works for us.

Me and my husband both work. He works very far away, he wakes up at 6 A.M and gets on an 45 minute train every morning. Then he doesn't get home till, 6:30 to 7:00 P.M.
And he is currentley tutoring somone, and on a very very big project. And he is doing this for us. So, I always help him at home. I care for him, because I know every weekday must be rough, these days. And I get home at 3:30, So I feel selfish. So I never worry. About NP, it's the least I can do, to help him.
And it never happened at his old job, close to home. So I think it's just because he's tired. So I just leave it how it is.

My husband and I have 3 children all 3 and under and we both have agreed that my job as a sahm is way harder. He knows what it's like and when I get my girls night out, or a trip to the store by myself he totally appreciates what I do on a daily basis. We believe that in a marriage everything is 50/50! WE BOTH MADE OUR CHILDREN, so we should BOTH take care of them. So when he comes home from a long day at work, yes I make dinner and feed the kids but he helps with cleaning the kitchen, giving baths and getting them down to bed. 50/50, that the way it should be. Talk with him and good luck!

OH AND ADAM, YOUR A COMPLETE IDIOT!

Its understandable he is tired after a long day and its often hard to get back motivated even for the smallest thing once we sit down......but he needs to remember you also put in alot of laps already in that house and would like a break too and perhaps handed this or that too now and then.

You did the right thing pointing it out in a fun way. I'm sure he wasn't laboring you intentionally it more became a habit. Good luck in catching that movie yourself now!! lol

I love that! NP! I think it's grounds for divorce! At least it was my excuse for getting one. I wish I had known the medical term for the disease.
