I pick my female cat up last night by her mid section and she growled and hissed at me She has never done that to me,. Then this morning instead of picking her up I just slightly touched her mid section and she started to growl. She is eating and walking and going to the bathroom normally she is even playing and rolling around. She just does not want anyone to pick her up or touch her mid section. I don't have the money to take her into the vet for x-rays and exam. Please help should I wait to take her into the vet for a couple more day to see if it get any better. Please help.

I think as long as she is eating, having regular bowel movements and has a normal amount of energy (well, normal for a cat) then she'll be fine. Animals have been getting along for many years with little human help.
I would refrain from picking her up and just keep an eye on her. If she stops eating or has trouble laying down/staying still then its time to take her to the vet.

You are the only one(besides your kitty) who knows what's normal behavior for her and what's not. I would give it one more day, and see what changes or progress she's made. I would go ahead, though, and see what vets in your area are a.) close by and b.) will accept predated checks or set up a payment plan. Are you currently working? Even if you're not, some rescue or animal centers in your area are usually willing to help you out. They did that for me.Our cat was anemic and had a severe flea problem. She was living outside at the time,so we weren't aware how bad it was.I was working full time at a restruant as a server then, but I was still not making alot of money. So I called our local non profit rescue shelter and told them my cat was really sick. They sent me a coupon for a free visit directly to the vets office by fax. I only paid for the medicine they gave her. It cost me 25 dollars. She's fine now. Maybe you should do the same thing. Hope this helps...

I think if you can get her to roll over and show you her belly, you might find the answer to your question. She might have an abcess, or mammary tumors, or lots of other things. An abcess would require quick treatment, mammary tumors would likely not be treatable and you'd need to start thinking about when it was time to end her suffering.
You need to know what the problem is to make a plan. If she won't let you look, you'd better get her to someone who can. Also, look at her bedding and see if there is any discharge, bleeding, or even bugs.
If there is no lesion and no discharge, and no bugs, then I guess it would be safe to wait a few days and see if she changes her attitude, but if there is anything odd, or she doesn't get over it, better get a professional diagnosis.

Don't wait. Severe pain like that needs to be looked at.

Has she used the litter box? Especially to poop? We had one of ours get so constipated that the feces were stretching her intestines out in a straight line up to her heart (the Xray looked awful) and she was in pain from that.

Yours needs to go in to the vet today, not a few days away. This isn't gas or something minor, you've seen a major change in her behavior, this is a major problem.

Would you want to be left in pain? She may not be able to tell you and she might be in extreame pain and you might not know it! She needs to get to a vet ASAP money should not be a reason to stay home from the vet. Talk to your vet about billing you. Don't wait until she shows severe signs, get it checked before she needs REALLY expensive treatment.

maybe u could wait. if she is doin stuff normaly like u said maybe waiting a few days wont hurt. but once she is starts being lazy and not eating, then it might be time to take to the vet.

I would never wait. If she is in pain, she needs to be seen asap.
