Monkeys (or more probably great apes is what you are referring to) are a separate branch of the same family tree as humans. So it's not like chimpanzees started turning into people. Humans come from a common ancestor as chimpanzees. Not like one day Zera and Cornelius had a kid and it was a fully evolved man.
Jesus=Savior<3, evolution didn't STOP. It takes millions of years for eveolutionary changes to occur. But if you don't believe in the fossil record, which , if your screen name is any indication , you do not, then you are right. We were magically created and all the fossils and bits of pottery from thousands of years ago were put there merely to fool us.

We did not evolve from monkeys. We are two different types of animals. So that's why we still have baby monkeys

We all evolved from protozoa. Some ended up being monkeys, some ended up as humans...or fish...or three-toed sloths.
It's completely logical that God created evolution. He created all science...which includes evolution. There's nothing "unGodly" about science or evolution.
Ask yourself why all people don't look alike...or why some persons are born with "birth defects." It's simple genetics.

take the shark the great white came from a much bigger shark
giant beaver bears horses wolves cats etc.... everthing either evolves or dies off including us. Evolution is happening as we speak like it or not.
