who is Hawkins? and anyone who is an alcoholic should get help even if they appear to be fine, they will fall in one way or the other. but, only Hawkins can make the decission, others can't do it for him/her.

Actually, it is his life to live.
For medical reasons, I would prefer he get help, but that is not my decision to make. Nor will it help him for me to stand before him and make moral judgments about his condition.
