I'm terrified to be in my own house, and i dont know what to do. I'm home alone today with my brother, and he scares me so much. less then an hour ago he squeezed my arms really really hard, and i was trapped since he is much stronger than me. he can easily hurt me, and often times does. my mom doesnt seem to give a crap, but im afraid one day he'll kill me. what do i do?

tell your therapist ,grandparents, aunts, uncles, neighbors and ANYBODY at school because your parents ignoring your pleas for help now can easily be called "assisting a homicide" later...

If your parents won't do anything and your truly fear him, then you need to go to another trusted adult that will. A family member, a teacher or a school counselor. You are probably out of school right now, can you stay at a friends house while your parents are gone? If he starts to hurt you, get out of the house and call 911, then maybe your mother will believe you. Your brother needs help, if he does not get his anger under control he will hurt someone.

Is he psycho? Or has some mental issues?
You should never feel afraid in your own home. Warn your mother again, but this time be very serious when telling her.

Tell your mom. You shouldn't be afraid to be in your own home. As a matter of fact just print this page out and show it to her.

Tell your mother ASAP. Is he leaving bruises? Show her something to make her believe you. Tell him to leave you alone. I don't encourage violence with my children. Sounds like he's going through that goofy teenager stage. He needs to know that what he is doing is wrong.

Okay... tell your mother, but also tell another adult figure you can trust and personally know -- a teacher, aunt, uncle, priest, minister, etc. And do it now. Your feelings are probably justified.

Crying wolf when you are partially responsible isn't going to get you much sympathy. Perhaps your mom knows what's going on and she is tired of your and your brothers nonsense. Quit roughhousing with him and then complaining about it. You aren't fooling me either.
