Police officer don't make enough money for what they do. Most places they only make around $30,000 a year depending on where you live. Here in Atlanta entry level police officer makes about $25,000 - $30,000. Most take second jobs as off-duty officers for bars, apartment complexes, etc. Some places like NYC you are required to have military experience. Good luck!

Learn how to bully people and violate their rights. You will often have to pull people over just because they look like trouble or if they look out of place. Get good at verbal abuse and treating everybody like their stupid. Forget about fighting crime, real criminals are dangerous so stay away from them and harass the guys who look like they can pay all their fines. Just remember that the hidden agenda here is to earn money for the precient, courts, probation dept., state and most of all yourself.

Practice tranquility meditation- you may need it the first time you use potentially lethal force against a attacker the week it takes for docs to say he will live. Second and third incidents it can get easier or- you may have to quit. .

best advice from me, is to stay clean, don't get arrested, and since you're 16, call your local PD, and ask them about the explorer program, I think you'll enjoy that
