Are you talking about a divorce? ( "decree absolute") If so, you are, in effect, single, so why wear them?

You will be divorced and not married so it is proper to remove them. You can have the stones set into another piece of jewelry, if you wish, such as a ring for your right hand.

I took mine off the moment I found out he had cheated on me, once the vow was broken the marriage was broken, but that's just my humble opinion.

I would take them off now. If you're waiting for your divorce to be finalized, they have lost all significance anyway.
