I have a few tattoos, but the worst for me was the shooting star collection I have going from my calf to my thigh. Its on the outer part of my left leg and took about 3.5-4 hours to do. I was sore for over a week. I couldn't bend my knee to save my life! And omg having it put on was painful but I'm a trooper. For as much as it hurt, I can't wait to add to it :-D
Usually the most painful places are areas close to bone and organs, with 'thin' skin (hands, neck and feet), areas that are subject to lots of movement, and areas that have lots of nerve endings. Places with more meat on them tend to hurt less but everyone is different!

I have 7 tattoos, One on each ankle, one on the top of my foot, one on my lower back, one on my upper back, one on my front shoulder, and one on the back of my neck. I won't lie, the foot was pretty rough, but I asked a tattoo artist where the most painful place to get a tattoo was and he told me (he was COVERED in tattoos) that the ribs are by far the most painful.

A lot of people say that it hurts to get a tattoo somewhere in your body that is not fleshy and I respectfully disagree with them. Getting a tattoo on soft parts of your body suck the most. TRUST ME... I just got my 3rd tattoo on the side of my stomach and it was hell.

i have 3 tatoos done they all hurt...
so while speaking to my tatooist he told me
that a tatoo will hurt the most where the skin is most delicate....
for eg the skin on ure forearm is much tougher thanthe under arm...
a tatoo will hurt the most on the bone so if ure making a tatoo which is on the the ankle or neck it will hurt very badly and will take more time to heal

I have one on my ribs/pelvic area and surprisingly my pelvic bone hurt the worst. I have heard the front of the neck is tender too along with the tops of feet...

the bone areas like back or your lower leg area places like that. thats to me anyways my chest tattoo didnt really hurt at all but my back did hurt a little

I also have one on the top of my foot and it killed!!! The one on the back of my shoulder wasn't half as bad so I was not prepared for the pain this time!

wherever there is a lot of bone and not a lot of cushion. like on the top of your foot or the top of your hand... i had one on my lower right abdomen and it just tickled there really bad it barely hurt at all. only the one star that was by my pelvic bone hurt more.

I'd say chest or head I have a jack and sally on my back shoulders and when it hit the bone it hurt like B****!
