where is the best place to file? And can you get more back if you do them your self?

No, you may save money if you do them yourself. A professional preparer is going to charge money to do the return.

However, if you do it yourself, be prepared to read and read and read. (You can buy software, but it's still going to interview you.)

If nobody makes a mistake, you should get the same amount back whether you do your taxes yourself or have someone else do them. Of course if you do them yourself you save the fee you'd be charged by a tax prep person. If your taxes are complicated though, it might be worth having someone do them who has training and knowledge.

Do them your self. H& R Tax Cut makes a really easy program to do your taxes on, it doesnt cost much money and because it cost less you will get more back on your taxes! Good luck!

file with the government. and you dont get more back if you do them yourself but you don't have to pay for it either.
