I am asking this because I am 18 and I have gray hair scattered everywhere on my head. I am scared that I will be very gray by the time I am 24 or 25. I want to know if hair dye could do the job until Im about 30 or something.

My husband dyes his hair with the Just For Men products. I could only tell when he let his gray roots grow out too much. I had no idea he dyed his hair when we were dating!
He's 47 this year, and still dyeing!

Do you remember the Clairol ad slogan "Does she or doesn't she?"? Just substitute "he" for "she." A good dye job is pretty undectible. There are even products that cover only the gray. One recommendation in that situation is to use a shade slightly lighter than your natural hair color.

We wouldn't be able to tell that you had gray hair if you dyed it until the roots started to show as your hair grew.

If you want to color your hair, go for it. The last thing you should be worried about is what other people think. You color it for the same reason you wear that favorite shirt. It's because YOU like it.
