ive done that before. usaully cuz the guy is being really annoying and wont stop bothering me. i give him my number and most to the time he calls my phone right away to make sure i get his (or maybe to check if i gave him the right number) i save him under "do not answer" so thats y she blows u off most likely she is not intrested in u so move on

oh my god. A million and one answers to this. Also goes to the same to you guys in my experience, most these nasty ones can be from blokes too..
1. She didnt really think you was going to call and just enjoyed the flattery at the time. Alchohol also helps. Then the other person wakes up in the morning and thinks oh my god/cant be bothered. Its hard getting a number from a random person. Unless both people think that they really have potential,its not going to happen. Most relationships happen over time and through meeting people. Not just swapping numbers- that usually ends up in short lived flings and casual sex.
2. The girl is looking for a relationship as outlined above, not something casual.
3. If she does want something casual she has decided the next day for whatever reason. e.g alchohol, going along for the flattery- that there is someone she has better with.
Dont let it get to you. If you never got to know her in the first place to get hurt, you are saving yourself from more future hurt instead of her leading you on then hurting you.
Look at it that way.

I am going to answer from the girls point of view... I have given the wrong number, more than once. Reasoning behind it is, I felt bad for the guy, did not want to shut him down in person, and thought that it would be easier on the phone. It's a cowardly thing to do, but it's the best for me.

nope never happened to me, not, women do this all the time, and guess what so do we guys. Haven't you ever met a girl who at the time seemed hot, then when you were sober not so much so you blew her off too, come on it is all part of the game

Some girls are not very blunt or honeest, and there are some that dont want to hurt your feelings. I acnt say I've ever done that.
