i got a disc with pics on it for xmas. how do i download it?

i thought you only had to put it in and a wizard would come on. but that has not happened. so how do i download this? it was made on a dell same as mine only she has vista. does that matter?

ok the pics are on the disc...not on my computer yet.when i put the disc in nothing happens.i go to my computer and click on d drive and nothing happens.i also tried clicking on c drive and that does not work. how do i get the pics from the disc on my computer so i can view them and put them on my space profile? i have windows xp

shouldn't matter.
Click on drive in My Computer where pics are, click Open...
you should have pics.

Use Windows Explorer Maryann and you should have no trouble.

Just start up Windows Explorer, create a folder where you want the pics to go, then go to the drive letter that corresponds to the disc drive and copy the pics.

well the method for download depends a little on the format of the dics, if its a cd you simply:
1. pop it into your computer
2. go to start and click on MY COMPUTER
3. Locate the "drive" (location) the cd is in usually E:/
4. double click on the drive
5. drag and drop the pictures and floders you want on the cd to you desktop or desired folder in MY DOCUMENTS or C:/ drive

if the disc is a DVD be more specific with your question

Download? It is already on in your computer, whats to download?

Just go to My Computer, double click on the disk, then drag and drop the pictures to wherever you wish to save them, (My Pictures?).

go in to my computer and click the letter of your cd drive (probably D) that will start the wizard you are looking for
