Its a small family owned and operated marina/high end boat dealership looking for clever out of the box ideas for promotions advertising and maketing to get us back on track anyone have any ideas?

There are several factors which weren't addressed in your question.
1) National or local market?
2) What region are you in? Seattle, Miami, Boston, Wilmington?
3) What is high end to your market?
18 foot day cruiser, 28 foot Bass Boat, 32 foot Cabin Cruiser, 128 foot mahogany trimmed Yacht?
4) What do you have that your competition doesn't have or doesn't market?
5) do you offer dry docking? Services? Fuel?
6) is there a restaurant in the marina?
If you have dry docking services, a play on this would be interesting.
Something like:
"Need a place to launch?
We ARE going to let you down - we won't let you get soaked!"
"Offering Down Home Quality Services Since ...."
That could be an eye catching play on words. Notice the positive in that - you aren't begging them - you are firmly letting them know what you are going to do.
People who do afford high end boats - are internally confident and know what they want.
You just need to tell them this is what they want.
Remember also; they have or want a boat because of the image it represents. Build on their dream while painting THEIR picture in words.
Watch you wording and avoid words and terms which have negative implications.
