Hello Cinnibuns,
I just love your new kitty.
I feel that when good things come to me, it is because of my hard work and selfless giving.
Example: I have a new young family in my community. The husband works out of town while his 8 month pregnant wife works in our town. Both of their cars have broken down. I take the husband 30 miles to catch the train so he can get to work, I take his wife to receive her WIC, then take her to the store.
She works across the street from my office in her minimum wage job and gets off around the same I time do, but sometimes she does not. Sometimes I go back into town about 1 to 2 hours later to bring her home.
My husband was giving me a hard time all throughout this, saying "they are doing nothing but using you". Because I was doing this for them I received anger from my husband.
(I continued to do it)
Then Christmas Day came to say hello and this young couple came to our house and gave to us a card and cookies.
My husband was amazed and touched. That this young couple thought of us, to give to us this little something, when they had nothing, was the biggest gift my husband had received.
It is the actions and hearts of men. It is to man that I praise or blame.
It is the heart and actions of man.
Peace & Love,
Sam
PS: God had nothing to do with my giving - that is just who I am!

This is a really good question! I don't attribute anything that happens to me to God if the choices I made led up to the event. The reason for that is I believe that human beings were given free will.. and this is widely accepted by Christians of any denomination. God cannot be held responsible for the choices I make..however I will give credit where it's due, for example when a miracle happens.

Human beings are prone to playing the "blame game."
Even Adam tried to blame "the woman you gave me."
It takes a unique individual to take responsibility for his own mistakes, or to realize that life doesn't always throw you sugar donuts.
The Bible says we are to be thankful in ALL circumstances. Why? Because God has promised to "work all things together for good to those who love Him." Yes, that means even the things WE consider bad.

Suffering is immaterial in this world. We are able to feel. We are able to see and contemplate. We are alive and if we can do such without seeking to blame at all then we can truly live more in a minute than one will in an entire lifetime of blaming other sources. It is a waste of our gift of life for us to blame others. I have a chronic pain disorder that cripples me nearly every day, I do not take any drugs to treat the pain, and when I do not suffer the light is brighter the sights and smells and experience is great, life is finite, quite brief, and quite beautiful. We shouldn't soil our garment just because we covet another's endowments in life. I hope all of us here can learn to not blame and live more fulfilling lives.

When bad things happen to me, I don't blame God. I have come to realize that everything happens for a reason. Why blame God, because he could fix things in a minute if he wanted to? I believe we are given hard times to make us a better individual. Best of luck.

I thank God for everything, be it bad or good. If I am injured, I thank God, if someone dies that was close to me, I thank God, if I gain something that I wanted, I thank God. Regardless of the situation I thank God. He doesn't wish ill will on anyone, things just happen, so there should be no blame towards Him, only thanksgiving.

When something bad happens, i blame myself or the person who caused the bad. If something good happens, i blame accordingly. Too many people looking for a scapegoat for both sides and refusing to take things for what it is.

I never blame God. Things happen for a reason, it is a test to see how you handle things. You have to take responsibility for your own actions and know that if bad things happen, it is just a part of life. There are too many things to be grateful for.

I thank God for giving me LIFE, each and every day. Then I go forward and thank him for the lessons, some of which may seem difficult, to teach me forbearance. Whatever God does, I know it is for a perfect purpose. I just have to go with the flow. I wish you well. I want for you and your loved ones to have a prosperous, healthy, God-endowed, Happy New Year.

You have it half right, keep going. It is possible to thank God ahead of time for the blessings that a bad occurrence will eventually bring into Your life. I've seen it happen too many times, in retrospect, to ignore the possibility.
