Pretty good ---- I imagine in 2000 years, if we haven't killed ourselves off, humans will be laughing about our current beliefs.

Good chances... that's why my personal spiritual journey is an ongoing thing... it is an lifetime search.

I don't think anyone has everything right. I think we're all going to discover eventually what parts we had right and what we had wrong eventually.

I don't think it matters if we're right or wrong; I think the journey is the important thing. Most important thing, I believe, is keeping an open mind and be willing to reconsider previous beliefs when new information comes into play.

Regarding what?

Could that basic reasoning be why God gave the Jews, Christians, (and I understand the Muslims have it also, the principle of '2 or more witnesses' regarding matters? (Jews Deut.10-20 about three texts; Christians Matt 18:16, 2 Cor. 13:1 (one witness could be 'self')).

It's guaranteed.

All knowledge is piecemeal, relative, subjective. "That which can be thought is not true."

In fact, convenience is our sole arbiter of "truth," precisely because all knowledge is relative. We say the earth revolves around the sun because it's the most convenient description; not because it's "true" in any ultimate sense. We might just as well say the moon is the center of the universe, and switch all the calculations over to suit. But we don't, because it's not convenient.

Of course, there's no such thing as "sort of pregnant"...lol.

Depends what we're considering I may be wrong about!

Wrong about the nonexistence of god? Based on scientific evidence, the chances are very slim that I'm wrong, but anything is possible.

Wrong about thinking I'll get my new novel published within six months? Chances are very high that I'm wrong about that. ;)

Define "wrong".

I have the understanding that anything I hold as "true" may actually be "false". And I do mean everything. However, I'm not sure if I consider that to be "wrong". I would explain why...but it is more fun for you to figure it out on your own. :)

If you are agreeing with God theres a 100% chance you are right.

God tells us what is really true and wants us to take HIM at His Word. thats called faith. Doesn't matter if the world thinks I'm wrong. I would rather be the only one believing God than a dead fish floating downstream with all the other dead fish. It takes a LIVE fish to swim against the current.

Being right or wrong really isn't the issue. The issue is "What has God said?" HE IS the ONE that is right...yeeeeehaw!

About 98% chance that I'm wrong, on almost every subject.

It doesn't bother me all that much, because it's the same for most people.

well, on the probability scale

0 being that it is impossible that I am wrong
1 being it is the only possibility that I am wrong;

I'd say I'm somewhere between 0.9 recurring and 1.

What is important is that I think that I am right

I understand that it is almost inevitable that I am wrong about something I believe. I am quite confident regarding the major tenets that I hold that I am basically correct.
