As Christians we don't have any reason to fear "The Secret". We have the Truth of the gospel. However, it's an absolutely ridiculous and irresponsible book and really sad that so many people are getting caught up in its foolishness. I mean, really, we can have good things happen to us if we think positive thoughts and send those thoughts out into the universe? And if bad things happen, then that's because we've sent out bad thoughts? What a comforting thought that must be to children born addicted to cocaine or who are born with AIDS. What a comforting thought to women who've just been raped or any of the families who lost their homes during hurricane Katrina. How nice it must be for them to know that they've brought about their own affliction for having put out negative, bad thoughts into the universe.
No, the author, what's her name, can keep her "secret". I'll keep Jesus, thanks. On the plus side, that book does provide good motivation for sharing the truth of the gospel, which is by no means a "secret"!

The Secret is not OK for Christians to read. Not because it is too "witchy-pooish", but because it's too close their prayer ritual.

Witchy pooish???????????? It's based on the creative visualization talents we all have, which has been known by mystics for ages. It's a reality of life where your beliefs are not.

I think its great. It has to do with believing in yourself not calling upon any forces to make it happen. It is also more of a conscience matter

I think it's ok but where they use "odd" terms place the words Jesus and God into it.

It isn't Scriptual and should be avoided by believers.
