I think the question would come across much better as "What would you do if you heard God's Voice inside your head?
If you do hear Gods Voice and/or if I were to ever hear God's Voice, I would recommend to listen very carefully and then ponder the message, write it down in a journal if you remember what It/He/She said and ponder some more.

As a Christian I can tell you that you don't hear Gods voice in your head. If you are saved you will hear the voice of the Holy Spirit in your heart speaking, if you are a dedicated Christian you will learn this. Most of the time that voice in your head is the devil leading you down his path, be really careful listening to the voices coming in your mind. If you have never accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour and became a Born Again Christian then it can't be the Holy Spirit you are hearing and if the voices are telling you to do something contrary to the Bible then you know it is of the devil. You can get control of the voices, the first thing you must do is get a Bible and start learning about God and His Son Jesus Christ. Jesus came and died on a cross for you. To wash away your sins, The Bible says we are all sinners. We do contrary to the Bible, only by becoming saved and born again can we overcome the devil, Jesus will forgive every sin you ever did, He will wash you clean and give you a new start, if you would like a new start just pray this sinners prayer of faith believing in Jesus with all your heart, its a new life and a new hope, just pray Dear Jesus, I know and confess that I am sinner in need of salvation. I believe you died on a cross at calvery and arose from the grave to wash away my sins, I ask you right now to come into my heart and save me, I pray this Prayer believing in the name of Jesus Amen. If you prayed this prayer with a sincere heart you are now a child of God, rejoice that your name is written in the Lambs book of Life. the mind can play strange tricks on some . Why you would think this was something intelligent is beyond me . the excuse god works in strange ways is a pat answer cop out for lack of sense from the fabricators of god. . And even if there were an intelligent god don't you think he could do better then "find the poo" learn to keep it real .

Compare what I hear with the Bible, the written Word of God. If it correlates and there are no contradictions between the two, it could be from God. If it contradicts the Bible, or violates Biblical principles, then it was either a demon disguising himself as "an angel of light" to deceive, or it was too much pizza last night.
David Koresh is an excellent example of someone who listened to an "angel of light" who spoke lies to deceive him into acting contrary to the Bible. (Joseph Smith was another one, but I'm not allowed to say that, or someone may get offended, even though what he taught contradicted the Bible.)
In fact, Paul was so adamant about this, that he wrote not just once, but twice, in the same paragraph, that if ANY one, even an angel from heaven, brings ANY other gospel, let him be cursed!

Pay attention. Our ability to perceive our realm of existence is limited; Sight, Sound, Touch etc. Additionally, we as a species is relatively new to this universe. Understand this, not so long ago in human history did we get out from under the Vail of an understanding of who we are, dictated by leaders of people without any facts. Such as the Earth was the center of the universe. We are part of this universe. We are made up from star dust. We are not alone. To hear "God" is what? To understand what "God" truly is, is to remove yourself from the mundane and mostly incorrect teaching, propagated from perversity to maintain control of the masses and power.
"God" for whatever it is, must be of pure energy. An energy of light and thought. We are a part of this energy, there are no boundaries. All life is within it.To know it, you must tune out what you think is real, without conviction. Tune out to tune in, and you'll begin to see its light.
How very unfortunate it is that people invoke the name of God to seek truth . A belief in a false existence where minds of those whom follow, are those who are blindly being led into their own darkness.
A belief so tremendously engrained upon followers, humanity is ultimetly doomed. Never shall we find peace and tranquility and live harmoniously with each other. As long as the rift between religious entities continue, we remain in a distructive path with no return.
