Decent guys are ignored or sneered at as being wimps, geeks, nerds, or...you get the picture. We're all still here, if anyone's looking.
If you're looking for guys built like Greek Gods and have the ideal personality, don't bother -- not only do they not exist now, they never did in the past either. You need to be able to accept your man's faults, just as you expect him to accept yours.

Yeah being a decent guy these days sucks. I'm 20 and have always been pretty decent, but with how girls treat nice guys, compared to how they treat a** holes, there's really no point to remain one except personal principles. Good luck though

According to Psychology 451, Woman subconsciously look for Alpha males, also known as a++holes, and marry them because it means their children will have a better chance of survival in the gene pool.
Then women find Alpha types make lousy fathers and would prefer to spread their genes around instead of supporting the children they have.
Women then go look for a stable, hard working Betta male to support and raise the Alpha males children.

It's all in how you define "decent". For a vast majority of women, it's rich, tall, and handsome....those guys are in high demand and they pretty much have their pick. Maybe you need to think about what it is you are looking for and adjust to what is available to you.

I've met plenty of decent guys. I think the odds are much better than one in fifty. The only problem is finding them.

It depends on your age (the older you are, the harder they are to find) and location (a college town will provide you with fewer "decent guys" than a professional business town).
