Meaningless question without knowing what OS you use.

In Xp: install Chinese fonts and writing system (Pinyin IME)
in Linux: install SCIM

You need to install the Asian fonts.
Start > Settings > Control Panel > Language & Regional Options > Language > Check the radio box for "Install Asian Fonts"

Instead of typing English in your favorite search engine search box, type Chinese!

If you can't type the Chinese characters, the Pinyin technique should be your option.
