my live in boyfriend of 2 yrs resently went out with his best friend for his birhtday which I was fine with. I even offered to watch his friends daugher. When he returned later that night we made love then he went to lay downstairs instead of staying in bed. I thought maybe he was getting sick from drinking. I got ready for bed his cell phone rang and I answered it and was hung up on. I dialed the # back and it went to voice mail for a Julie. I then checked his phone and found 4 test messages from this Julie they had a flirtatious tone to them. when i questioned him he said that his friend was the one talking to the women not him and that he never saw the messages. My boyfriend hasn't offered to have is friend call me to confirm. My boyfriend hasn't done anything like this before if he was out and made a mistake should I forgive him. HELP

yeah, your BF's friend was using his phone to chat with a girl, and not his own. Doesnt sound legitimate, so while I am not saying break up with him, you guys definitely need to talk and re-evaluate your relationship.

I suppose it's possible that the friend was using your boyfriend's cell phone (especially if the friend has a girlfriend of his own), but your boyfriend should have been straight with you from the beginning on that. And I don't think he would offer to have his friend call you - that's something you'd either need to request, or you can call his friend on your own.

Bottom line: you need to have a long talk with your boyfriend. If his actions are raising a red flag in your mind, you need to get to the bottom of it. Lack of trust will kill a relationship. As far as taking him back if he made a mistake, that's something you'll have to decide for yourself. It depends on the mistake, I think. Flirting with a girl, while bad, isn't the same as having sex with her.

If it doesn't sound right, it's a lie. This doesn't sound right to me...
