Hello,

I calculate a gross english salary to a net mounthly salary.

I found this site :
http://www.rothman-pantall.co.uk/common/calculators/payroll.html

in the link you can see a question as what is your taxe code.

I will work in London, I'm 24 years old, I'm not married and I have no children. Which taxe code am I corresponding to?

Thank you for your answer.

The tax code you will get is 522, which equates to allowances of £5225.

My son is 20, single but working in Birmingham, but he's a student and only works part time.
His tax code is something like 527L which means his tax free allowance would be £5270.
Have a look online to see if you can find a website which explains tax codes - something which baffles most Brits!

EDIT: To Bostonianinmo: The question may have appeared in the wrong section, but the meaning is clear. No need to nit-pick
