Yes, it's possible to meet someone online initially, and end up falling in love with them down the road after you've spent offline time together.

Why wouldn't this be possible? Most of the people you pass on the street are folks that are on the internet somewhere. Everyone on the internet, also has an offline life...the 'net just gives us a mean to meet people we might not have crossed paths with soon (or at all) in our offline life.

It is very possible. I was very skeptical about the online dating thing until I tried it myself. My sister recently married someone she met online. At first she wasn't sure about him because she wasn't attracted to him right away, but after a while she found herself becoming attracted and eventually fell in love with him and after a couple years of dating, they finally married. A very close friend of mine also met his wife online. I have been dating an amazing woman for the past five months that I am truly in love with and we met online as well. The key is friendship first, dating second. Take advantage of the phone and chatting as a way to get to know the person first before the physical part of dating kicks in. We are both very much in love and we both agree that we have never been so happy in a relationship prior to the one we're in now. Don't compromise yourself just for the sake of falling in love. Love will happen if it's meant to. This is easily said, the best relationship I have ever been in. Good luck!

I know that YES is the answer you want to hear, but it's NOT POSSIBLE!! Don't be so niave and gullible! You will always get hurt.
Well, you won't know for sure till you see her! So the answer is no! You might meet someone online and fall in love with the notion of love but what if after months of talking and thinking you have found "THE ONE", & you finally meet her in person & she is very, very ugly, way beyond fat, got giant moles on her neck, bad breath & rotten teeth. I'd think you would "RUN & HIDE" am I right?????? So you can't really know if it's love just by talking to someone on line. People tend to exaggerate and be someone they are not while online cause they can! You really don't know who your dealing with, Heck she could be an UNDER COVER COP in a sting operation catching pervert talking to young girls BE CAREFUL!!!

It's hard enough to get true love with people you come face to face with! I have talked to men online that said that they couldn't think of anything but me and all that. But the bottom line is, you won't really know someone until you meet them and spend real time with them. There are a lot of meaningful relationships that come from the internet, but much more the opposite. It's the same thing in real time. Why do you think there are so many divorces?

Good Luck

I think it is if you meet online, then see eachother in person. People will automatically say, "you never know who you're talking to!" and stuff like that but you know what? You don't know who you're talking to at a bar or a club or even at work for that matter. People misrepresent themselves everywhere: online, in bed, whenever they leave the house. You really can't tell till you get to know someone.

Ted Bundy and Gary Ridgeway managed to be serial killers without the internet. My uncle managed to meet a really awesome, perfect woman whom he married... and who then cleared out their entire house down to his clothes when he was away on business and took off with her REAL husband, and he met her at church.

Look at it this way... you're online, right? Well, if you're online, chances are good that there are women you'd get along with online. Whether or not you'll find her online or out and about is another matter.

It is possible to find a true love online, but the actual online relationship cannot be true love until you meet and find out what they are like in person. Online it is easy to find someone you are "compatable" with. There is a lot of other things that go into love besides compatability and you cannot find that out about a person until you are with them. Too many people in online "relationships" confuse compatability with love.

To be really honest, i fell inlove online once, talked to this girl everyday for about a year on webcam and mic, in the end i decided to go see her and spent 3 months in california

- what im trying to say is Yes it can work - but if you want it to work you have to be prepaired to do anything, because if not - if you are not willing to go see her sometime in her life, then you will both end up being heart broken.

So it can work and sometimes it cant work. Depends what feelings are inplace

Not at all likely. I believe you can meet a true love online, but that love would only occur after you two had spent some time together.
