Hi, I need some help with video compression. I use DVD Shrink to put standard DVD's onto DVD-R and have never had a problem, Until now,.

I downloaded a DVD interactive game (xfactor) and tried to use DVD Shrink to make it fit onto a DVD-R but its still a bit to big ? can,t understand why as its a DVD9 the same as a standard DVD and shrink has never failed me before. Is there any other software out there with a better compression ratio than DVD Shrink ??????

I would be surprised that DVD shrink works with a Game? The point of DVD shrink is to compress the quality of the video. With a game you have more CODE then you would video. What ever video there is could be shrunk, but the code can't be shrunk (if you still want to play the game).

DVD9 is just how they can produce DVD's for sale. These DVD's aren't burned like you for home use, they are actually pressed onto the DVD this way.

I agree with airdogspace. DVD Shrink is designed for compressing video, not games.
