the two Kodak cameras you point out are almost same different than for the prolonged ISO variety of the C653. for basically $one hundred thirty, the C653 is a great deal. The Canon A550 is almost $3 hundred and basically provides one mp to the sensor social gathering. take a verify out comparable cameras by applying Fujufilm, Nikon and Panasconic (with the Leica lens). you're able to do all that on dpreview.

I have the same camera nad have had no probs. Did you just get the camera? I read in the manual about this and all it states is to either install new batteries or charge rechargeable batteries. If that does not work go to this website I found in the Kodak manual-
www.kodak.com/go/c613support and select interactive troubleshooting & repairs Godd luck:)

The problem is it's a Kodak. I had an EasyShare camera too, and it was junk. Mine wouldn't turn on either after it fell onto a well padded carpet. I now have a Fuji and I love it. Easy to use and it's durable.

Read the manual that came with the camera. If that doesn't work, take the camera to the store and ask the salesperson to help you.
