No "would desire to" approximately it. devil takes many varieties and guises. i've got informed him to scram and wander off many situations. The devil isn't some mythical character, or some attractive looking charicature with stubby horns and a sharp tail wearing a purple tournament. he's actual, and extremely very energetic in right this moment's international.

Since in virtually every representation there is a devil inside all of us; himself or herself are in constant dialogue with us anyway 'just one more chocolate' 'one more drink, you drive better then anyway' etc. So what do you say to yourself when you do or are about to do something you know is 'wrong' or 'harmful'? It's amusing to think of an external devil and not so funny to realise it is not a devil, it is you.

There is nothing that I would need to know from him, and nothing needs to be said. All I would ever need to say to the devil himself would be without uttering a word. I would turn my back on him and walk away.

Devil is pure hatred, evil and everything man detests. I do not think I would like to be around that to ask a question. Let alone the fact he is known as a trickster, liar and manipulator so not like he would answer honestly or with genuine feelings.
I wouldn't believe anything he says to me for it is either a lie or a trick. It'd be a surrendering of myself to him in my eyes for having to turn to him for a question and an answer.

Hello Persian
As he is the universal scapegoat & a part of our very human minds - I would tell him to take a break & have a cuppa.

I would ask him, if he did exist, why is it that he does god's bidding, surely torturing human souls in hell is what god wants you to do, so then surely you are doing 'good' because you are obeying god. I would be more inclined to believe that if hell were real, it would not be a place of torture, it would be a place where satan would be raising an army and planning his revenge, not doing the bidding of a god he supposedly hates.
But it don't matter, god, satan, odin, zeus, all imaginary.
