i just turned 21 and i still have never been in a relationship with a guy. ive been told im a cute, smart and fun girl to be around but no one seems to want to be more than friends with me. i go out a lot with my friends and i occasionally meet some new people, but like i said it never really gets past friendship status. when i do find a guy i like who likes me back, he usually doesnt want to do anything more than hook up or fool around or whatever and thats just not what im looking for. i just need some advice to where i could be going wrong.. people just keep telling me to wait but im getting pretty impatient and i want to do something about it. why cant i find someone who wants to be in a relationship?

The only thing i see wrong is that you seem to be losing confidence in yourself . There's nothing wrong with you . Your still young and have a long way to go . Enjoy what life has to bring you . Unfortunately there are alot of guys who just want to hook up to just mess around and not a real relationship . I say it's there loss. You may say your impatient , but be glad that you haven't hooked up with any of the wrong guys . Enjoy your life . Have fun . Life is to short to worry about finding a relationship . Yes we all want one , but we miss out on alot when don't see what's around us . You have your friends , that's the good thing . Someone will come along . And he will be one very lucky guy . Wow you sound like a really nice girl. Do you stay in Ohio? j/p Anyways I'm 22 and having a hard time trying to find a decent female (been looking for over 2 years). It is annoying but waiting is the best thing you can do. It is clear that you have some standards so don't sell yourself short. Just hold on a little longer. Good things come to those that wait. Give it time! The best advice anyone gave me was you will find love when you aren't looking. Since you are only 21, just enjoy your life right now. Your other option is yahoo personals or your local "love" service. You might find someone on there.

well i guess a lot of it depends on how outgoing you are.. guys like girls who are outgoing and confident, also i know me personally i like girls who are fun and silly so you might want to see if you have those qualities. just try putting yourself out there, its when you dont try so hard that all the guys will start flocking to you. dont get down on yourself cause people can see that. im sure it will happen for you
