I want to start out fresh in a relationship since I don't have much experience in this area or life. Out of curiosity I had met up with 10 girls that were my age. I noticed that 9 of them had kids, 7 of them had been married before and 6 of them were bad drug addicts. I'm not saying young single mothers are bad so don't get yourself upset over nothing. What I'm saying is that I've not had much experience with dating. I've only been with a few girls that didn't last long, just wanted to piss someone else off by sleeping with you and didn't want to talk to you when it was over. That's all well and great when your young but when you get older, look for something more and want to start out with someone that with the same experience it seems impossible. I thought I was just attracting the wrong type of girl but now I see the alternative doesn't seem to exist.

It's so rare that even in this there was one girl that admitted to having kids so far and out of the thousands of people right now on yahoo answers there were what only 5 or 6 saying they were around my age without kids and or not a druggie.

I'm 29 and I've never been married or have kids. Also, I'm not hideous, I'm not psychotic, I'm not a drug addict, and I'm not a crazy cat lady. I just wanted to accomplish a lot of stuff before I started a life with another person.

I agree, six drugs addicts is a sign you're looking in the wrong place. Since you said there are 10 girls you met that were your age with those issues ... where did you meet them? If you're at a bar, you're at the wrong place anyway.
I've never been married and I don't have kids either, and I'm the same age as you. It takes time to find the right person (I finally found him), so don't give up hope yet. Just start looking elsewhere. No one is ever going to have the same experience as you, so don't limit yourself to just that. Apparently, they thought what they did was all "well and great when they were young" too; maybe that's why they did the things they did.

There are good girls out there!! We are NOT all the same! I am 25 a mother and have a great boyfriend. I have not been married and I am NOT a drug addict or an alcoholic! Some people make mistakes and learn from them. Just because they have made mistakes doesnt mean that they are bad people. You might want to rethink what you want in life. Just because women have had kids or have been married doesnt give you the right to judge them. They could be the sweetest person you will ever meet. Now this probably doesnt answer your question but oh well!

Where did you find these girls? I met plenty of young adults that don't have kids and never married. I am 26 and i don't have kids or ever been married. You aren't looking in the right places. Go somewhere nice, a nice lounge where young professionals go there you will find what you are looking for. Cause 6 drug addicts is a sign that you aren't looking in the right places. Good luck ...

i am 31, not married and have no children, perhaps you need to look a little further afield, and dont tar every girl your age with the same brush
