I would add a little water to thin out the paste a bit and add some spices, but otherwise it sounds like one of my "I need something to eat and all I have is this mishmash of stuff int he house" meals. I have of course eaten shrimp-rice-tomato and sausage-rice-tomato, and it was good, but I cannot remember shrimp and sausage together. I have all the ingredients, I should try it once I eat all this turkey (which should be about gone sometime early next year).

Well, I used all those ingredients along with others (a roux, whole tomatoes, tomato sauce, etc) in shrimp creoles which I make fairly often. It is good if all those ingredients are cooked properly.
Edit: For those saying it is jambalaya I feel I must be more specific. That is creole jambalaya which is made much differently from other jambalayas so it shouldn't be confused. Also, you do not put tomatoes in a traditional gumbo.

I've had both Jambalaya and Paella. They were great. I leave the shrimp out when I do Spanish rice, but I often add chorizo.

Yes, it's called Jambalaya or Paella.
It's a really good Spanish dish, popular within the Cajun population. I really like it.

Yes and it was quite good. We like just a touch of Cayenne pepper in ours too.

Yes, it was the bomb! OMG, that stuff was so good.
Add a little kick to it too--cayenne pepper or taco seasoning is good too.

Sounds like basic fixings (less the okra) for a gumbo...
