As near as I can tell, most of the free interpretation sites out there offer definitions, but can't really offer interpretations. I did run across one that claims to offer interpretations, but a computer program can't look at nuances like the storyline, theme, and tone of the dreams, and when someone enters a dream, all the program can really do is offer a bunch of definitions based on the symbols in the dream, not an actual interpretation. The ones that offer definitions can be useful, though, but then it's up to you to look at how the meanings of the symbols interact with each other to convey a concept, how they interact with the story line and the over all tone of the dream. If you want a professional dream interpretation, I'm sure you can find many sites that offer that through a web search for dream interpretation. Some of the sites that I go to for definitions of the symbols include dreammoods.com , dreamdoctor.com, and sleeps.com. On some of these sites you can find discussions of various dream themes, and common dreams as well. These sites also offer forums, other users there may be able to help you interpret your dream. There are several very good interpreters on this forum, as well, if you post a dream here. No matter what others say to you about your dreams, they can only offer ideas for you to mull over, and see if they fit your situation. Every symbol has several meanings to it, some of the meanings are universal, others are specific only to you. Ultimately the meaning of the dream is up to you, based on your personal understanding of the symbols and storyline, and how they fit with your experiences, a dream is a story you tell yourself, about yourself....
