On windows Vista, Is there a way to have sound in safe mode?

B/c i want to watch and listen to music but It disabled the sound.
Is there a way to disable it?
Oh and why is it in safe mode that everything is magnified?

I bet you could configure for the PC speaker to work. You know, the one that goes beep beep during start-up. That's all we used to have in the good ol' days. I don't remember how to set it, but I bet it's easy to do through control panel.

Things appear magnified in Safe Mode because your display driver isn't being used. The stock Windows 640x480 display driver is running your video.

I'm afraid sound can't be used in safe mode.
