What is it about tomatoes that you don't like? Be specific, I'm honestly puzzled about this!

Why do I like tomatoes? Ok... I like tomatoes, in general, because they are juicy, slightly acidic (makes me feel like I'm loading up on Vitamin C) and because they are red! They add a pop of colour wherever they're added! I'm not a big fan of fleshy tomatoes. I find them too dry. I am one of those people who can't handle too much acid but tomatoes don't bother me too much. I grew up in the country and had tons of fresh tomatoes every year. However, I did develope canker sores in my mouth because of all the acid. The one and only down side! : ) Thanks for the answers!

I have no idea why I don't like tomatoes...I just never have. I don't find the taste pleasing - it's hard to say why. I'm okay with tomatoes chopped up in taco salad or something though...I guess it's just not a flavor I can handle by itself.

I don't like coffee because it is way too bitter. I don't like tomatoes because I don't like the taste. What about tomatoes makes you like them? (Hey, I turned the difficult question around! Go me! Haha...)
Edit: Thanks for answering! :)

Because with tomatoes you feel like a poison in your mouth but it isn't you get a stomach because of the liquid=acid and I don't want to eat them because they might have chemical inside that why I only eat organic kinds such as sugarplum tomatoes. Now that is why I don't think other don't like tomatoes. THANKS YOU VERY MUCH!!!

I love tomatoes.

But I know that for some people it's the acid that bothers their stomach. For others, it's the texture of the tomato that is an issue.

It is not that I don't like tomatoes - I just can't eat raw ones, they have to be processed to break down the salicylic acid (the active ingredient in aspirin and I am allergic to aspirin) that is naturally found in the seeds of the fruit. I love stewed or processed tomatoes in my spaghetti sauce, chili, stew etc.

Sometimes tomatoes makes me nauseated and I don't like the taste of a raw tomatoe. It doesn't bother me if it's a sauce.

I like cooked tomatoes, just not raw. I'm not sure why it's just a texture thing.
