Few things first....
Are you or do you plan on using a receiver? That would be the best way to go. I dont know of any tv that you can hook a sub woofer into. The dvd player? Not a problem. Hook it up to the tv as the instructions tell you too. If you are using a receiver.... hook the video wire for the dvd player into the tv, use a optical wire from the dvd player to the receiver. Hook sub woofer and other speakers to receiver and your all set.

You dont.

You cannot simply add a subwoofer to your TV to supplement the TV speakers.

You need an "AV Receiver". All your speakers connect to this (including your subwoofer) and it powers the 5 speakers and routes signals to the subwoofer.

i think you require a jack for it.. you can find it in local market

its for connecting your home theater to your DVD +TV
