My friend acting very weird. Paranoid thoughts. I am certain that Ive witnessed several episodes in the last 3 days. Very worried he will hurt himself or someone else. Ive talked to mental health proffesionals and they recommend that they send a Crisis Assessment Team with police to his house because its necessary due to him having weapons.
Whats should I do? I dont want to lose his trust. No stupid answers please.

If you do nothing, then it will simply be a matter of time before your friend begins distrusting you too for no good reason. His paranoid and delusional thinking dictates his behavior and it is keeping him from getting the help he needs. That's why you, as a good friend, are entitled and obligated to do what is best for him during a period of diminished mental capacity.

If you focus on whether you may lose the trust of a person gripped by mental illness, then you will have spun this episode into something about you rather than about your friend's urgent medical needs. That would be selfish and quite possibly fatal for you, your friend and/or other innocent people. You need to do the right thing and follow the recommendation of the Crisis Assessment Team as soon as possible.
