I couldn't agree more, this year Xmas Mass was obviously better than the past, but still not right, the showing of stable. I believe a lot more money requires to be spent. The architecture in Jerusalem and the replica's of the people in the scene needs to be much better quality as Jerusalem truly is.
The sermon, outfits were great, expect the priest with the black hood it needs to be more rich and royal as the time of Christ's birth, death and his coming is rich and full of abundance.
So if the Pope requires this information please pass this on with all my blessing

First the pope has enough to do running a country and an international organisation.
Second when did the catholic church ever respect any Christan values. They probably don't even know what those are. Certainly the Vatican should clean up it own house. They should get started with right away there is a lot to do.
Never mind the Inquisition it has not gone away it just changed it's name and the pope can handle it before he was pope he was head of it.

He could very much do that if he want to by convening a third Vatican Counsel. The catholic systems seems to need a big upgrade to catch up with the current trends. Maybe let the priests marry again. They also need to address their financial situation, their facing serious financial collapse in the future if it's not revamped. So much things the pope can do with that power he has, but we can't tell what they're planning, these things requires serious time and strategy.

They tried that approach before. It didn't help the Church much in keeping up its credibility. Once you become involved in politics, it quickly becomes a tangled web. Better keep the secular and spiritual separate. The Pope will condemn certain acts and that's his prerogatives, but excommunications are a bit medieval.

I hope you do not think that the RCC care about the social meaning of the message of JC. Power, money and domination have always been their prime target. Whatever the many good people at the lower levels of the RCC think and hope.
Try to name one country where the RCC has given up, on her own free will the political power she had before.

it would be lovely if the world leaders actually cared enough to care about their own people let alone what the pope or "god" thought about their behaviour. we could only hope that as christians that they could figure it out.... guess life just isn't that easy huh. heard of the one " you can lead a horse to water but you can't make them drink" the pope doesn't have an easy job...he's just the messenger as i see it ...not the enforcer.

Perhaps he should start by encouraging condom use in Africa?
That might help reduce world suffering a bit.
