i read they are harming the environment by killing good bacteria that some things need to survive...the soaps get into rivers and streams and kill everything.

that and they are making people hyper-sensitive to other bacteria. we all need germs to live, it build immunity. if we are crazy clean then eventually our immunity isn't worth a crap.

Bad! I shop for liquid soap carefully to make sure it isn't antibacterial. I heard that doctors claim antibacterial soap isn't more effective in killing germs anyway. Also, due to the increase of antibiotic resistant germs, antibacterial soaps help create new germs.

To really kill germs all you need is: Warm water, soap(of any kind), friction and at least 15 Seconds to wash your hands. The rubbing of your hands is what get rid of germs and remember to not touch the facet handle right after you've washed, just use a paper towel, or elbow it.
